Biography
The band that brought you hits such as ‘Up All Night’, ‘Rest Of My Life’, ‘Save Me (Wake Up Call)’ and ‘Seein’ Red’ return with their monstrous new studio album ‘Swan’. The album builds upon upon the success of UNWRITTEN LAW's hit albums such as ‘Unwritten Law’, ‘Elva’ and ‘Here's to the Mourning’, which have seen the band sell more than 1 million albums worldwide since their inception.
“There was a lot of interpersonal turmoil going on with the band itself and in our personal lives during the making of this album,” adds UNWRITTEN LAW guitarist Steve Morris . “We had all but completely succumbed to the extreme pitfalls of being a band. We had no money left, we owed money to everyone, everyone in the industry hated us, and we were barely hanging on by a thread.”
UNWRITTEN LAW were determined to rise from the dead. Broke and emotionally drained, the group pooled their creative energy into writing and recording their sixth studio album ‘Swan’. The album and its title perfectly summarizes UNWRITTEN LAW’s roller-coaster career of ups and downs. These pioneers have managed to persevere through adversity at 5 different major labels, bomb attacks, house fires, and battles with addiction. Somehow through it all, UNWRITTEN LAW managed to keep it together and write one of the best records of their career.
