Biography
The brainchild of former front man and founding member of The Dropkick Murphys, Mike McClogan has lived the life that other bands just sing about. Having served as Gulf War veteran combat fighter to continuing a family tradition of becoming a Boston firefighter and taking a break from music.
Four years after his departure from The Dropkick Murphys, McClogan spent his nights off jamming with old friends from the Boston punk scene. This resulted in the creation of STREET DOGS.
2010 saw the release of the bands 5th studio album, inspired by the ferocity of their audiences and a desire to make rabble-rousing, in-your-face punk records. STREET DOGS is anthemic, heartfelt and positive, an answer to the dehumanization of modern life in the classic tradition of punk from The Clash and Sham 69 to Green Day.
SOUNDWAVE FESTIVAL 2012 will see STREET DOGS grace our shores for the first time and are sure to turn heads with their unique take on punk rock. With a formidable live show, fans will being treated to punk at its finest.
