Biography
BREAK EVEN are a hard-working punk/hardcore band from Western Australia.
Their debut album The Bright Side (released mid 2009) has in its short lifetime already become a classic with not only the punk/hardcore community, but music fans everywhere. The album was voted in at number 2 on Triple J’s ‘Short Fast Loud’ top 100 albums for the year (2009) and helped to catapult the band into national support slots with the likes of Alexisonfire, Rise Against and NOFX.
The follow up to The Bright Side is the new song 'Hells Gates'. It picks up where The Bright Side left off and shows a natural progression of heartfelt and honest music from this unique four piece.
In a scene flooded with bands that choose to focus on anger and apathy, BREAK EVEN separate themselves from the pack by encouraging the listener to find the bright side in everything, whether it be in life, in dreams, or in loss.
