Whilst anything with Cynthia Nixon on the cover is something I'm less than keen to watch. But I will if you recommend it.
I got me an ego boosting sig. Finally!

Yeah Cynthia Nixon was the only downside to an otherwise awesome cast. Gonna watch it tomorrow night since I don't have time tonight.
As for Sundance being on the cover... it works in theory, but there are some HORRIBLE movies that go to Sundance.

Emma Roberts blossoming into a legit actress? That would be cool.
Yeah, that's what I thought.

Just watched The Beach. Havn't watched it in years.
That movie was pretty imo. That bit where Leo is moving like he's in a video game was lame.
yeah, i'm a bit fan of the ol empire records... i wanted that movie to be my life when i was younger... i wanted to sing on the roof at the end, but not have sex with that creepy guy on the photo copier.... lol
also dangerfield had shirts that were the pic from the front cover... but there were none in my size and i went to at least 5 stores, bad times.
Up - 8/10
Fantastic movie. Started out a bit slow, but turned out amazingly good. Love the talking dogs. Nearly cried towards the end. Has anyone seen it in 3D yet?
Inglourious Basterds - 7.5/10
Great movie. Good storyline with the right mix of laughs and drama. Laughed when Brad Pitt did the italian accent. Haha
Oh *phew*. Your cool rating was going to go down if that was the case.
i watched this the other day:

It was so tacky that it was awesome...i love it haha
the same goes for this one:

21. British. Sunshine Coast.
Michael Moore is worse than the wankers he makes his films about.

Yeah I cried in that movie, but it is definitely not the saddest movie I've seen.

One of the saddest movies I have ever seen is Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid. Traumatised me as a kid.

The Lion King has nothing on The Little Mermaid. Disney is retarded lol.
You should watch the Little Mermaid, I bet you will cry.

I was surprised how much I liked this. I never watched the original Halloween films though I knew the lore, and though I thought The Devil's Rejects was a very good horror film when I heard Rob Zombie was remaking what many consider the scariest film of all time I wasn't really excited for it. Last night however I was on the whiskey and salted peanuts with a mate so we decided to give it a shot.
I don't understand why Zombie did a remake when he could have made a better film by expanding on what he added to the history of the series. The first half of the film, which tells the back story of Michael, is entirely new, as John Carpenter never did more than hint at one, and without a doubt it is the best part of the film. It's fresh, brutal, and if it had been it's own movie it would have provided us with one of the horror icons of our generation. The boy who plays young Michael was exceptional, and for once I didn't find myself laughing when lightning struck and we saw a flash of a kid in the corner of the room. His scenes with Malcolm McDowell were the start of something brilliant, but then the second half started. Here we get all the horror cliches, the most prevalent one having Michael stand over two people as they fuck, disappear for a bit, then jump out suddenly with little of the shock value the film would have had over 30 years ago.
Zombie is known for his use of music in his films, and here lay my only real problem with this film. Horror relies on music, so when we first hear the Michael theme as young Michael runs out of his principle's office like only a small, obese child can it lost a lot of it's magic. The other choices, however, were pretty spot on.
It was a good film. I made plenty of jokes while watching it, and it's really that sort of film - see it solely for a bit of light fun, not for a brilliant re-imagining of one of cinema's scariest figures. It could have been that, but it isn't.
I got me an ego boosting sig. Finally!

Also, he put on a John Waters film - A Dirty Shame - and my head nearly exploded. In one scene, which probably doesn't last over 2 minutes, four main characters from HBO's masterpiece 'The Wire' had appearances. Obviously there's not much work for an actor in Baltimore.

Saw this last night. Was quite enjoyable. Some car crashes, little bit of blood splatter, good dialogue, great acting, little bit of humour, a lot of suspense.
Probably could have spent a little more time with the hostages.
It's nothing more than entertainment, so don't watch it expecting some mad awesome meaning. Unless you've done something you regret and are looking for tips on ways to redeem yourself, then you might find some meaning.
SW2011 Wishlist: Say Anything (would consider a headlining tour in lieu of SW11), Something Corporate, Dashboard Confessional, Nightmare Of You, Head Automatica, mewithoutYou, As Tall As Lions, Bayside, Armor For Sleep (stop killing my dream)
Wait until you see Porno Holocaust.
Actually, don't. You really don't want to watch Bruno Mattei films.

An American Crime is a movie based on the inspired actual events from The Girl Next Door. But An American Crime is a much better movie.

It makes sense to see that cameo, because Waters is from Baltimore and sets a lot of his movies there. Absolutely love The Wire, and some Waters films are quality too.
Last night I watched D.E.B.S. (again) and Hedwig And The Angry Inch, which was the final DVD left in a bunch I'd been lent by a friend. Must say, it provided plenty of laughs and had such an outlandish plot. East German queer marries an American solider in Berlin, but a botched sex change sees him/her dumped and stranded in the US, fronting a rock group with Korean-born army wives. Somehow it works. Easily one of the most interesting films I've seen that is tailored for an "out" audience.
Push = really cool action movie, 3.5/5 stars.
didn't mind ellen paige in the part. catherine keener was pretty amazing as well.
