    Saturday 21 February - RNA Showgrounds, Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills, Brisbane


    Sunday 22 February - Sydney - TBA


    Friday 27 February - Melbourne Showgrounds, Ascot Vale, Melbourne


    Saturday 28 February - Adelaide , Bonython Park, Port Rd, Adelaide


    Monday 2 March  - Steel Blue Oval, Bassendean, Perth

  3. How much does it cost & Where can I get tickets?

    General Public tickets go on sale through the website (click the tickets link above for to select your city) and www.ticketek.com.au 132 849 on Thursday 13 November. The cost is $130 + fees + postage.

    If you have any issues when purchasing your tickets through the Soundwave website email info@soundwavefestival.com if you don't receive your confirmation email or to check if your purchase went through. Email help@seatadvisor.com.au if you get an error and get charged twice.

    Tickets purchased through the website can take up to 28 working days to arrive.

  4. Is there an age limit?

    Soundwave Festival 2009 is licensed all ages, but we wouldn't recommend anyone younger than 12 coming without an older person with them. If you want to drink and you're over 18, bring your ID.

  5. What time does it start/finish?

    Gates will open at 11AM, and close at 10PM.

    You can arrive and leave Soundwave Festival whenever you like, however passouts (leaving & re-entering the venue) will not be permitted.

    Maximum amount of tickets than can be purchased is 6.

  7. I want to go to multiple Soundwaves, do I need to register multiple times?

     

    No, You will just need to buy tickets for each state as they go on sale.

    The early bird ticket email will contain links to buy tickets for each state

  8. I want to go to Soundwave, but live in New Zealand/Overseas, can I register for Early Birds?

     

    Yes. Just register under the state you want to attend. If you want to attend multiple, same as above applies.
    When purchasing tickets, please select the "Print at Home" option

  9. I purchased early bird tickets, when will I receive them?

    If you selected the Print-at-home option, you will receive a .pdf with the tickets. If you haven't received them, please email info@soundwavefestival.com with your Confirmation number and we will re-send.

    If you selected the Registered Post option, they will be mailed out in approximately 2 weeks.

  10. What's the difference between a print at home and actual ticket?

     

    Print at home tickets are emailed as a .pdf to you when you pay for them.. You print them out on any kind of printer and bring the print out with you.. it will be scanned at the gate.


    Actual Tickets will be mailed out to you, via Registered Post.

  11. Can I bring my camera?

    No professional photography equipment is permitted.. however point and click cameras and mobile phones are fine.

  12. Will there be sidewaves (Sideshows)?

     

    This is to be confirmed…

     

    Goldfinger will be performing sideshows which will replace the tour they postponed earlier this year. Ticket holders for this tour should retain their tickets as they will be valid for these shows. There will be some very special guests appearing with Goldfinger so this is the bargain of the year!

  13. Will there be a signing tent?

     

    Yes, there will be signing tent/s.. The roster of signing's won't be released until a few days before the festival and not all bands do signings.. (NB: often headliners don't do signings..)
