Biography

Forming in 2002 from Long Island, TAKING BACK SUNDAY ended the year on the rise, with much to reflect on. From headlining packed shows to a potentially tragic accident to MTV2 exposure, TAKING BACK SUNDAY ran the gamut of highs and lows while steadily building an incredibly loyal audience and earning critical acclaim from music press everywhere.

TAKING BACK SUNDAY is not turning their collective back on what is already a storied past, not when their resume boasts three gold albums, two of which hit the top five (including the brilliant Louder Now), extensive touring with the likes of Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, and Jimmy Eat World, as well as co-headlining the Warped tour and appearing at the historic Live Earth, all in-between their own headlining gigs for 10,000 plus fans regularly, and appearing on every one of the late-night chat fests; Jay Leno, David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, and Conan O’Brien.

Yes, it’s already an impressive run TAKING BACK SUNDAY has had, but the rejuvenated group is looking clearly to the here and now. I love how it says they've toured with 'the likes of' My Chemical Romance when My Chem were only the shitty little band supporting them way back in the beginning.

That said, TBS and MCR both rock, so I'm excited to see them touring together again.
