In an age where taking risks and being fearless can make or break you, RX BANDITS have emerged as a tidal wave, a force that shatters all the boundaries set against them. Emerging in 1997, the band have drawn from numerous genres including prog, punk, rock, to reggae and the blues; reinventing and revolutionizing their persona while retaining their socially conscious lyrics and bravado instrumentation that have kept each musical progression unmistakably RX. This concept has been the catalyst for the band's ever-growing fanbase, which revels in their uniqueness and continue to storm their celebrated, incendiary live shows.

RX BANDITS are fearless. In a nervous era of record label focus groups, marketing strategies, and narrowly defined micro genres, it seems that the idea of the Transcendently Great Rock & Roll Band has been lost. Fortunately for us all, Southern California’s RX BANDITS seem to have become exactly that.

RX BANDITS write beautiful songs about life that are filled with a passion and honesty that sets the band part from its peers. You’d be hard-pressed to find another band currently out there that is as unabashedly creative and passionate as RX BANDITS. This is nowhere more evident than on the latest album, Mandala and Behind The Hype sum it up best... “Mandala is another stunning effort by Rx Bandits and the band has managed to capture its intense and often jaw-dropping live show in the studio.”
