Let's just say that if it weren't for the outlandish ‘80s hair-metal rockers of Poison — and more specifically, guitarist C.C. Deville and his dangerously flamboyant licks, leads and neon-lime painted axes—legendary Orange County ska-rockers REEL BIG FISH probably wouldn’t have ever existed.

After being in the limelight for over a decade, REEL BIG FISH still know how to make an impression. Armed with mischievous grins, punk rock confidence and the ability to continually take the piss out of themselves, REEL BIG FISH continue to take to the world stages harnessing new fans wherever they roam.

REEL BIG FISH was one of the legions of Southern California ska-punk bands to edge into the mainstream following the mid-'90s success of No Doubt and Sublime. Like most of their peers, the band was distinguished by their hyperkinetic stage shows, juvenile humor, ironic covers of new wave pop songs, and metallic shards of ska.

The group cultivated an underground following that broke into the mainstream in summer 1997, with a vast array of classic sing along rock/pop anthems including Sell Out, The Set Up, She Has A Girlfirend Now and even a cover of the A-Ha classic Take On Me which has since become a live favourite.

These guys are awesome live - seen them 3 times in the UK. Most of the sample stuff above is older - Cheer up is an awesome album. An absolute must see at '10!

Reel Big Fish are so dancy
I started listening to them when my brother was playing them ALL THE TIME.
Ive seen video clips and ive got some albums now and i must admit it'll be great to see them live
They toured with Less Than Jake from what i remember but i didnt go
But I ended up seeing Less Than Jake at this years soundwave and AMAZING is all i can say.
