Biography

Born and bred among the Buffalo, NY hardcore scene IT DIES TODAY formed in August of 2001. Soon after they released their Forever Scorned EP, after which their popularity exploded. After touring extensively, and adding a second guitarist, IT DIES TODAY had found their sound, and released The Caitiff Choir on Trustkill Records. “The quintet play the kind of metalcore that leaves broken hearts and bruised bodyparts in its wake”.

The group has also been on a whirlwind of tours including supporting Bleeding Through, Walls Of Jericho, All That Remains and Throwdown.

Fast forward to 2006, IT DIES TODAY released their sophomore album, Siren, an album that audaciously makes an obvious effort to defy all expectations of minor disappointment that typically follows a satisfying debut. “Put simply, if you like screams, melodies, crunchy as fuck guitars and a smattering of beat downs, then you need this.” – Metal Hammer

The Buffalo boys of IT DIES TODAY are hard at work on their new album Lividity due out later in 2009. Armed with new singer/lyricist Jason Wood the band promises a much heavier album than "Sirens", but keeping with that classic IDT sound that we have all come to love. Expect sincerity, passion, and FUCKING POWER!
