Biography
In September 2005, ESCAPE THE FATE won a local radio contest judged by MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE. The gig awarded them the opportunity to open a show on the band's headlining tour with Alkaline Trio and Reggie And The Full Effect, which subsequently led to ESCAPE THE FATE's record deal with Epitaph.
Fast forward to 2006 and the barnstorming opening track on ESCAPE THE FATE's hotly anticipated sophomore slab, This War Is Ours, sufficiently sums up the hard-partying and hard rocking Las Vegas band's attitude, authentically informed by real-life drama. The song is called "We Won't Back Down" and if ever there was a band who could make that claim, it's this one.
ESCAPE THE FATE exudes a spirit of chaotic mischief, reminiscent of the riotous Motley Crue, which they capture perfectly in their electrifying live shows. Packing venues throughout the world, they have enslaved a legion of faithful fans at each stop with their brand of boisterously addictive rock.

heeey all im a massive etf fan im going to the sideshow on wednesday soo pumped but for all the comments on whose better heres my opinion
ronnie was an amzing singer and he had a great run but what happened, happened. he wrote the old song yes, but he was friends with craig and is totally ok with it if ou acutally look into it and listen to the interviews.
craig is amazing he definatly makes the band what they are today (not saying that ronnie didnt) but he brought something fresh and he as much as a part of escape the fate as ronnie was so you can all have your opinions but face it theyre both great singers and they both helped the band become where they are seriously guys ETF is by far my fav band and if you love them i totally agree if not your loss anyone whose going to the metro see ya there haha (: my and my bestfriend amyy are going with our friends who btw are nicknamed craig, monte, robert and max thats gotta show for something peace out

o and i have made up my mind about the whole craig v ronnie shin dig. i like craig better coz ronnie did this like squeeking kinda noise in half his songs eg: reverse this curse (in the chorus you can hear it really easy at the end of the words) and dragging dead bodys in blue bags up really long hills, through the entire song he does that squeek thing lol it annoys me but i still love his songs but craig is a much better singer and i love his screams
personally i hardly know who is singing when it comes up on my ipod i just love most of their songs regardless of who sings, although i hate the soft songs from craig...... really rubbish!!!! (no offense

Skittles Craig had all the rights to change there style of music, no singer wants to copy another singers style and would you really want to hear Craig sing like Ronnie, no one would, he does a great job at singing the older songs, may not sound as great but the crowd still goes off. Ronnie signed a contract giving his songs to the band and record company so he has no say on if Craig can sing the songs or not. Acting tough over the Internets pathetic, to bad your not coming to Perth so i can just watch and laugh wile you got fucked up trying to be a tough cunt.

Ok, so in my opinion, Ronnie sounded better than Craig! Mabbit had no right to change the style of ETF, because the fans were interested in their music before Ronnie went to prison. Oh and for those of u who say craig is allowed to sing some of Ronnie's songs because Ronnie doesn't own them... FUCK YOU, Ronnie WROTE them songs... they may belong to the band, but Ronnie should have a say on weather Mabbit should sing them or not... Okay so people that freak out about Craig this and Ronnie that need to calm the fuck down. Ronnie fucked up and paid for it. That doesn't mean i don't like him though. I like Craig too but the new album is a bit "eergh..." This War is Ours is really the only track i still listen to. BUT i'm gonna postpone my final judgment of EFT w/ Craig till after the new album. Hopefully we'll get something a bit heavier.
Also read on wiki that Craig is planning on another side project similar to blessthefall. Though you can't trust everything on that site and the statement isn't even there anymore. I have my fingers crossed anyway.

It's funny how pathetic some users here are. I mean I hate Miley Cyrus but I don't go google her and post about how I hate her on EVERY fan forum that I find!@!@! That's just desperate and sad, haven't you got anything else better to do?... If you don't like Craig no-one is forcing you to listen to him!! Listen to Radke's other band instead and stop whining. Geez some people are so obssesive! Because he is in jail and is modelled as some bloody victim of the juctice system alot of you fan-girls think you are thus similar to him as your a loner and victim as well, he put himself in there and as a consequence must pay for his actions!! He is quite arrogant (used to charge fans for meeting him and signing stuff) and probably would not give a crap about your problems so don't think he's an angel or something. Even the more core songs sound different, not in a good way (in my opinion). Craig completely changed the band. I don't really care much for etf, they're nothing special, but I still liked listening to them. I don't mind the softer songs, it's just I don't like the whole new style. They should stick to what they do best which is post hardcore not some crappy experimental thing. I'm hoping the new album will be the same as the first, but I know it won't be.
